POSpulse continues to grow – internationalization, new Berlin office and a clear vision for the future

28. April 2016

etventure startup POSpulse is continuing on its path of rapid success and growth. After the DACH region, the market research company is now broadening its activities to new European markets. With their approach to technology-based consulting, the Berlin market researcher wants to expand the consultancy offers for dealer and manufacturers in the future. POSpulse has also recently opened its own office.

The demand for new digital technologies in stationary trading is high. This is evidence of POSpulse’s success. With the help of app-based market research, the etventure startup delivers dealers and manufacturers shopper insights and optimization potential for the Point of Sale – nationwide, in real time and adjusted to the individual company issues.

International sales

With the help of Series A funding that POSpulse received at the beginning of the year, the startup pushed to go international. POSpulse is now also represented in the Czech Republic and Italy, its first markets outside the core DACH region. Sales experts for the respective markets were employed for international product launches. POSpulse is also being supported by a partner agency for its operations in the Czech Republic. In the meantime, POSpulse is heading towards sales growth of 300 percent for the current financial year.

Digital market research and technology-based consulting

In the future, POSpulse wants to strengthen its consultancy performance in addition to market research at the point of sale. As POSpulse shows improvement potentials and delivers companies directly implementable recommendations for action on the basis of data collected in real time. Dealers and manufacturers should be accompanied with the specific market research and beyond over a longer period of time so a larger value added can be achieved for the customers. This advisory thought is already being taken further in consumer research projects carried out by POSpulse and the auditor and consulting firm EY (formerly Ernst & Young). The original focus on the FMCG area will be extended with new clients from the areas of consumer electronics, telecommunications and publishing.  POSpulse can now draw on a panel of currently 40,000 shop scouts for these projects.

New team members, new office

POSpulse is also growing in terms of employees. In the previous year alone, the team grew from ten to its current 30 fulltime employees. For this reason, a new office was opened in Berlin at the beginning of March. POSpulse has more than 350 square meters available in the loft at the Sonnenallee location.
