mobileJob – ‘Startup of the Week’ in the german business magazine WirtschaftsWoche

15. October 2015

“Recruitment agencies for cashiers or crane operators” – under this headline the renowned German business magazine WirtschaftsWoche presented mobileJob as the ‘Startup of the Week’.  Why another employment agency? “There are numerous online job markets for academics. However, industrial employees are often left behind”, Steffen Manes, Founder and Managing Director of mobileJob is cited. Thus mobileJob, founded under the umbrella of etventure, also enables placements directly through SMS.

mobileJob focuses on the Blue Collar sector by “appointing builders, warehousemen or cashiers”. Instead of handing in a resume “applicants answer a variety of questions based on criteria essential for the position such as willingness to work shifts or the availability of a driver’s license” as WirtschaftsWoche describes the business model.

Since its start in January 2014 mobileJob has reached approximately 200 customers, including Edeka, Vapiano and DeliveryHero and even achieved financing through a High-Tech Startup Fund as well as recently receiving a six-figure sum from the business group Müller Medien.

Not least through it’s extremely successful growth course mobileJob has in our opinion deservedly become the Startup of the week.
