He pays special attention to the digital upskilling of all ranks people, the adoption of Silicon Valley-inspired methodolgies and the bespoke demystification of 'buzzing' technology concepts.

Since 2013, he holds a vocational role at Institute for Digital Business & the Center for Financial Studies at HWZ university. As their director of studies he developed and manages signature postgraduate master programs like Digital Leadership and, Fintech & Blockchain Economy. In this context he regularly visity the world's most renowned digital hotspots, including Silicon Valley, Singapore and Israel for several weeks a year.

As former Head of Digital Experience at Swiss Life as well as Director Digital Business at Swiss Federal Railways (SBB) from 2006 - 2017, he was spearheading a variety of initiatives that raised the bar for digital customer experience to new heights. Through these Digital Officer roles he is acquainted to the various challenges almost every organization is facing in coping with their digital transformation journey.
