etventure expands international locations in New York and Zurich

25. October 2016

etventure is pressing ahead with internationalization and is expanding its business activities in Switzerland and the USA. etventure was able to recruit two new Managing Directors for these locations: the digital experts Mario Fäh and Lukas Bower. While Mario Fäh is based in the Zurich office and will now be responsible for digital projects for Swiss companies, Lukas Bower is based in New York and will advance business activities in the USA.

Born in Germany, educated in Silicon Valley

How can companies survive in a digital world? Companies all over the world are being forced to grapple with this question. This is because the challenges of digital transformation are often the same all over the world – whether in Germany, Switzerland or the USA. In line with this, there is huge demand for consultancy and, even more so, for support with the development and execution of digital projects. This is even the case in the USA, the birthplace of digitization.

The approach taken by etventure makes use of Lean Startup and Design Thinking methods, which originated in Silicon Valley. By using these innovation methods and working together with the client, etventure makes use of prototypes to develop and test digital business models. It does so in a protected space, i.e. one that is outside of the company’s established structures. This agile approach is radically user-focused, and it makes it possible to launch new digital projects on the market very quickly.

Successful client projects are already underway in Switzerland and the USA

The success of this approach is demonstrated by the numerous new digital businesses that etventure has established on behalf of companies such as the steel distributor Klöckner, Haniel & Cie, and Wüstenrot & Württembergische. In the United States, etventure’s digital entrepreneurs have also helped the industrial companies SMS group and Kloeckner Metals to develop digital strategies and services for the American market. In Switzerland, etventure has executed successful projects for the Vontobel bank and the bookselling chain Orell Füssli.

Two proven digital experts, new Managing Directors Mario Fäh and Lukas Bower are further expanding the Corporate Innovation division of etventure’s consultancy business and are continuing its trajectory of internationalization. Lukas Bower brings with him over 20 years of experience in the areas of corporate innovation and digital transformation. Most recently, he built up the entirety of the US business for the technology and digital consultancy Squiz. Mario Fäh has 15 years of experience with digitization in the areas of media, communications and packaging. He is the co-founder of PAS Media, and he has been the company’s CEO for the last twelve years.

There are plans to further expand the teams in Zurich and New York in the coming months.
